I've published Patch Version 05d in hopes to have finally squashed the crashing bug. I also removed the clutter on the screen from the quest log.
If you wish to see your quest log, this can be accessed by pressing J on your keyboard.
Aaaand, that's it! Short and Sweet... Oh ever so sweet...

Oh, the Save file from v05c should work just fine with v05d. If anyone has any issues, please let me know.
